GP Out of Hours Service

The GP Out of Hours Service is in place for emergencies that cannot wait until the surgery opens. You can telephone them direct on 0151 - 678 – 8496 or alternatively you can ring the Surgery where your call will be diverted to GpOut of Hours.

Appointments
Appointments can be made by either calling in to the surgery or telephoning 638-4764. For routine or follow-up appointments we ask that patients telephone/call in the afternoons when it is less busy.

Test Results
If you are telephoning the surgery for any test results could you please telephone between 1.00pm – 3.30pm, when surgeries are not in progress and staff are able to consult with the Doctors.

Liscard Group PracticeLiscard Group Practice is part of Wirral Primary Care Trust and covers the postcode area of CH44 and CH45.

Our team includes three GPs, 1 Specialist Nurse Practitioner and 2 Practice Nurses as well as our practice manager and reception staff.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, coronary heart disease, diabetes and asthma sufferers and a Triage clinic At Liscard Group Practice we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know whom you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.

If you live in our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms and simple questionnaires that are available from reception. On the form, you will be able to say which practitioner you would prefer to see. However, you will be registering with the practice rather than an individual GP. Those patients already registered with the practice that move outside the practice area will be asked to register with a practice closer to their home.  

We hope to use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
